Wireless news popular
Finding news and information is the third most common content use for mobile phones, after sending and receiving text messages and downloading ringtones, according to a report from M:Metrics. The report found that 12.9 percent of U.S. mobile users -- or about 22.6 million Americans -- access news and information on their phones via a wireless browser, an increase of 2.5 percent over the previous quarter.
