Build what you want with BBC content
The BBC has launched a very cool new project called BBC Backstage at backstage.bbc.co.uk, a new developer network that provides content feeds for anyone to build with. The goal it to enable users to find and repurpose BBC content in more flexible ways.
Among the prototype tools so far, for example, is Shared Tags, a social bookmarking tool just for BBC News that allows logged in users to tag/bookmark stories and view related stories that other users have tagged using similar terms.
