To charge or not to charge
The Washington Post looks at the ongoing free-vs.-pay debate online.
Of note: Even though latimes.com recently ended its calenderlive.com subscription strategy, the site is not giving up on subscriptions and is planning to roll out new fee-based, online-only features within a year. The site is also planning an archive offering similar to what the New York Times announced recently.
