Eyes on the Internet 2005

The Online Publishers Association is offering free sessions in eight cities designed to update executives in the advertising, marketing and publishing communities on the most recent research and trends in online media and marketing.

The Eyes on the Internet tour will focus on consumer engagement with the Web, as the OPA unveils its new research project, "The Online User Experience Study," conducted by the Media Management Center at Northwestern University.

This is the same research that has been used by the print media industry to study engagement. As a result, the OPA initiative will enable the first-ever cross-media comparison of this type between print and digital media.

The goal of the study is to understand how consumers experience Web sites and how marketers and publishers can create engaging online experiences that build loyalty, usage and advertising effectiveness.

Here's more information and how to register.
