Union fears eAP
The Associated Press employees' union is worried that AP's plans to introduce eAP could be used to determine staffing levels and which bureaus survive or close, The New York Times reports. eAP is an an Internet database system that will, among other things, deliver news, photographs, video and sound clips with identifying codes that enable The A.P. to track how many times articles are used by a client.
