Google Maps adds Hurricane Katrina before/after feature
Google Maps had added a Hurricane Katrina before/after feature. Now, when you look up a map showing areas hit by Hurricane Katrina, you'll see a red button labeled "Katrina." Click on that to see a satellite photo after Katrina hit. Click on "satellite" to see the before image.
See, for example, this Google Maps map showing satellite imagery of New Orleans from Aug. 31 at 10 am.
