Jeff Jarvis to run CUNY new media program
Blogger Jeff Jarvis has been named the director of the new media program and associate professor at the new Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York.
Jarvis has been developing the new-media curriculum for CUNY's journalism program since last year. the founder and managing editor of Entertainment Weekly, he was most recently the president and creative director of Advance.net, part of the Newhouse publishing company, for whom he helped develop many of the company's newspaper sites.
