Flash and on-air training opportunities

The Online News Association will present two pre-conference training sessions leading up to this year's conference: "From Online to On-the-Air," a two-part workshop designed to help online editors and producers prepare for television appearances; and "Flash for Beginners," a Society of News Design-inspired course that will introduce participants to creating flash animations.

Both sessions will take place on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Associated Press headquarters at 450 West 33rd Street in New York. Each workshop is limited to 20 participants. The workshop fee is $150 for ONA members and $200 for non-members.
