Weather.com to stream Wilma coverage
The Weather Channel is going to stream a live feed of the television network on weather.com during the hours leading to and through landfall of Hurricane Wilma - the first time the network has streamed a live video feed of the on-air coverage online.
In addition, The Weather Channel is soliciting user-submitted video and plans to post it on weather.com for the first time (the site has been posting user-submitted photos for a while now).
The Weather Channel mobile is also offering no-charge text message forecasts for those impacted by Wilma.
