The growing prevalence of e-mail interviews
AJR looks at the growing prevalence of e-mail and IM interviews. The article
focuses on success stories of reporters who have learned to use e-mail, much like the telephone, as a tool to bolster their face-to-face reporting. Traditionalists moan, however, that the e-mail interview contributes to the shoe-leather deficiencies of young reporters.
