Gallup launches podcasts, vidcasts

The Gallup Organization has officially launched free video and audio podcasts of its "Daily Briefing" news program. The podcasts can also be accessed through Apple's iTunes.

The "Daily Briefing" is an 8-minute streaming video news program headlined by Gallup Poll Editor-in-Chief Dr. Frank Newport, featuring three to four segments that highlight the firm's latest polling data on current events topics. Up until recently, the Gallup Poll "Daily Briefing" was only available via webcast on Gallup.com. The launch of the free “Gallup Poll Daily Briefing” video and audio podcasts coincides with Gallup’s recent shift in brand strategy and transition into a stand-alone media organization.
