WMAQ tests new NBC web design

A few months ago, Internet Broadcasting began rolling out redesigns for the Hearst-Argyle stations. Now the web network is testing a new design for the NBC O&Os by inviting users on WMAQ's NBC5.com to give it a test drive. Its most notable feature is a large Flash module front and center that rotates between different stories and doubles as a video player. And in a big departure from the current NBC design, the new look features dramatically simplified navigation (much better.)
