Judge protects women who posted video online

A federal judge in Massachusetts has issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting the State Police from taking action against a Leominster woman for posting on her Web site a video of an arrest conducted by state police assigned to Worcester District Attorney John J. Conte’s office, the Worchester Telegram & Gazette reports.

Federal Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV ruled the restraining order will be in effect until March 2. The matter will be taken up again in federal court here on Feb. 28.

State police had threatened Web site operator Mary T. Jean with a felony charge for posting the videotape at www.conte2006.com. The video shows troopers arresting Paul Pechonis at his Northboro home on Sept. 29 and then apparently conducting a search of the premises.

Take a look at the video and see what you think. It's at www.conte2006.com. The fact is that Mary Jean's Web site is critical of the local district attorney. Then she gets a letter from the State Police threatening to refer her to that same DA for possible prosecution. This is scary stuff indeed.

Police around the whole country seem to have loss their minds and are abusing and killing people everyday and for no other reason than police officers are law enforcers and are above the law and do not have to obey only enforce laws. You can record and video police committing crime and they walk, yet a recording and or video of any other is all that is needed to convict. wonder why that is? Someone stoped by the police who guns their motor and trys to run away from police are shot and killer because the officer said they were in fear of their life and the person was trying to kill them with the car and it even works for them when the police are behind them and the car is going away from them, I wonder why that is? Every arrest and questioning should be recordered and be tamper proof. Police have gone wild and are getting away with false arrests and beatings and murder every day and we are also told how judges are on neither side yet always seem to lean toward the police side.
It's time for police to have to become law obeyers!
