Rocky gets 200 complaints after trimming stock tables
About 15 people filed complaints via e-mail, while the others called the Rocky Mountain News, to complain about the newspaper cutting back on its stock tables. "This contrast suggests that computer-literate people weren't nearly as cheesed off [by the reduced listings] as were older members of the Rocky's demographic pool, who refuse to become entangled in the World Wide Web," writes Michael Roberts. Rocky business editor Rob Reuteman tells him: "I was talking to ninety-year-old guys who've been subscribing for 44 years. And they're not getting on the Internet." (via Romenesko)
