WSJ.com celebrates 10 years online
The Wall Street Journal is celebrating its 10th anniversary of being online (WSJ.com first went online April 29, 1996)
To celebrate, The Journal is making the entire Web site free for 10 days.
For 10 days the site will mark the anniversary with a series of articles and other features that will look back at the decade. In addition to examining the evolution of e-commerce and newsmakers from the past 10 years, the site will highlight some of its most popular stories of the decade, look at the evolution of its front page design and compile readers' thoughts about the next 10 years.
"We want readers to share their ideas for the future. What should news Web sites offer 10 years from now? Describe for us the perfect Web site, circa 2016. Send your comments now to tenyears@wsj.com."
