Savannah Now to add My Space-like tools

Steve Yelvington reports on Poynter's Online-News list that a new Savannah Now is in "preview" mode and will launch officially in a couple of weeks - you can see the beta here.

Major new functionality:
* Community blogs for everyone
* Myspace-like social networking
* Online groups
* Unified search
* Neighborhood-level microzoning
* Flash-based display components for video, narrated slideshows, and rotating featured content
