Digg expands: the next big thing?
Tech news site/phenom Digg.com is expanding today to let users also vote for the most popular general news, entertainment stories and videos. The site has rocketed to one of the most popular tech news sites online by letting readers recommend online articles to each other. Will it succeed at general news?
The site is the third-most-visited U.S. technology news site, according to Web traffic firm Hitwise, with 304,000 registered users and 8.5 million visitors in May.
