Bakersfield Californian to sell social networking software
The Bakersfield Californian is going to begin selling its home-made social networking software that runs Bakotopia, Northwestvoice.com and its other niche audience-focused Web sites, E&P reports.
The software enables sites to provide social networking, blogging, user publishing and "citizen journalism." Site managers can decide if they want to review content before publication, or let the community police itself. More info on the product here.
