USC multimedia seminar for senior editors and news directors
The California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowships at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication (www.californiahealthjournalism.com) is hosting a multimedia seminar on Friday, September 15, 2006, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The seminar is called “How to Tell Health Stories in Every Medium,” a multimedia seminar for senior editors and news directors.
The Annenberg School for Communication offers this seminar at no charge to help improve the quality of multimedia journalism. It brings together some of the country’s most respected new media thinkers.
The seminar will provide practical tips for building ties to the community and for reaching out to new audiences. It will take place at the Center for Healthy Communities, at 1000 North Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles (near Union Station). The event is hosted by USC Annenberg’s California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowships.
