The image of Katie Couric that was slimmed down for the September issue of Watch magazine is not the first photo to be doctored before publication. This Cnet photo gallery looks at famous doctored photos.
All were manipulated beyond straightforward cropping of edges or lightening shaded areas. Often they have a key element inserted or deleted.
