NAA New Media Fellowship Program
Now in its ninth year, the New Media Fellowship program exposes 10 women and minority online newspaper professionals to issues, trends and developments in New Media and helps them develop skill sets in Leadership, Financial Administration and Strategy Development. Through mentoring, presentations and programs, fellows will be able to learn about all aspects of successful website operation from leading industry professionals. Fellows will be able to get hands-on experience by combining their New Media expertise and skills to build a strategic plan
for a newspaper 'client' website.
The fellowship pays for all travel, accommodations, registration, materials, meals and expenses. A candidate does not have to belong to an NAA newspaper member in order to qualify for the fellowship. This year's program will kick off with a training and development session at
the NAA Marketing/Connections Conference in Las Vegas in January 2007.
