Fort Myers paper uses 'Mojos' to cover news
The Fort Myers News-Press is now using 14 mobile journalists, or "mojos," who file for the web site several times a day, armed with ThinkPads, digital audio recorders, digital still and video cameras.
The paper has also appointed a managing editor in charge of "audience building" who monitors Web traffic to make sure popular stories stay high on the page. The editor meets weekly and shares data with the paper's marketing and sales staffers.
