GroundReport splits revenues with contributors
GroundReport is a news site that combines citizen journalism with Digg-like functionality and split revenues with contributors.
At GroundReport, you publish articles, create a customized front page, rate stories and earn money from your efforts. Some people think of it as YouTube for news. It reminds others of Wikipedia or Craigslist. Whatever way you see it, at GroundReport, you control the news.
Like most newspapers, GroundReport is supported by advertising revenues. But unlike most newspapers, GroundReport splits revenues 50/50 with writers. We want to thank you for your efforts, and we think you deserve a reward. Whatever we get, you get.
Regardless of what you're here for, you'll find great features at GroundReport. Readers customize their front page to feature favorite topics. Writers create a static profile page displaying their work, and track page views and earnings. And advertisers target campaigns by topic and geography for maximum effectiveness.

Not quite: Newsvine features some syndicated content from partners like ESPN and AP, and mixes in digg-type links with its original content.
GroundReport.com is the place to go for pure original content.
