Sacramento Bee launches new politics site, CapitolAlert.

The Sacramento Bee has introduced a new Web site for California politics, CapitolAlert, for only $499 a year. First two weeks are free if you want to check it out.

The site features:
* The latest news in California politics from The Bee and other sources on the Web
* Email alerts for morning updates, afternoon recaps and breaking news
* Next day stories will be delivered to subscribers by 8:00 p.m. the day before
* The 'W' Report - Exclusive columns and blogs from Bee political experts
* California Clips - A comprehensive round up of the latest political news items from around the state
* Top blogs - Links to key politics blogs, from journalists, the left, the right, and everywhere else
