I believe there is a true and living God. He is the God revealed in the Bible. He loved the people of the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son into the world to reveal God to mankind and to redeem people to Himself.
I believe people can communicate with God through prayer. By trusting the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross, a person can be forgiven of all their sins. By trusting Christ as Savior, a person is given the gift of eternal life. Hence, an eternal home is prepared where saved people will spend eternity.

This I Believe: I believe its far more important to be involved in how we contribute to this world, how we treat fellow people and other beings. An afterlife, in my view, is secondary. There are so many beliefs by people, I feel not just one is correct.

This I believe: I believe that our politicians have realized that it is easier to "play" politics with each other than to actually work the regional issues for which they were elected. They have raised trivia about each other to an (distasteful) art form and they are derelict in their duties to represent "We The People". "Throwing the bums out" just seemed to give the bums that stayed-in a free ride - This I believe.

Will it be possible to obtain a full copy of the "What I Belive" letter broadcast during the week of 3/26/07? The letter was written by a physicist re his religious beliefs and spoken well to my belief system. Thank you.

I believe the hopeless should have hope for tomorrow.I believe every human has its time to shine.I believe people have ther seasaons of brightness and dimness.I believe there is time for everything.Time to eats, time to sleep , time to marry, time to give, time to beg, time to save, time to cry, time to pray, time to change.I believe we must a belief to believe in

My wife and I really appreciate the "This I Believe" on NPR. We have supported NPR for several years now.
Would it be possible to obtain a copy of the This I Believe from May 18,2007? I would be glad to pay for it.

I recently wrote to find out about a song on the "this I believe" segment with Mary Chapin Carpenter. It was played at the end of her beautiful talk. Please let me know the name of the CD it is on, Thanks, Fay

Fay, this isn't NPR's site. No one here will no the answer to your question. You should go to NPR.org and try to find the archive of that interview.
