MSNBC.com launches new user-generated content space
MSNBC.com has launched a new section called FirstPerson for user-generated content. It's the latest iteration of the site's experiments with citizen journalism. (You can still see the site's "Citizen Journalists Report" section from two years ago here.) The site is using the new brand and inviting photos, video and text. Perhaps most interesting is that the site says some of the submissions may end up on air. The site recently got more than 6,000 submissions related to NBC's Trading Places TV series.
