The owner of the Yaquina Bay Hotel in Toledo Oregon has requested that the Toledo Council, and Lincoln County Transit move the
existing bus stop further up main street purely on the basis that the Owner of the hotel (does not like the look of the passengers who take the bus). I am one of these ecenomically disadvantaged and I have been on disability for 8 years. Many of the
passengers are severely physically, or mentally disabled and use public bus transportation to get to and from work. The
owner of hotel thinks that poor people, the ecenomically disadvantaged, have no right to use the sidewalks outside his hotel.
I would encouraged all persons of color, blacks, hispanics, native americans and disabled people to visit Toledo and file
complaints against The Yaquina Bay Hotel
,the City of Toledo, and the members of the City Council who voted to violate the civil rights of all American Citizens. Its amazing that there is such abuse of power at a time when so many kids are fighting and dying for freedon and civil libities
in this country.
The Yaquina Bay Hotel does not own the sidewalks of america. Owner is Edward Ivan

I am writing a response to my Valued guests which are not only in lincoln county but within the city limits of the wonderful town of toledo I live in. It has been said that I had the lincoln county transit stop moved because of certain reasons. I have tried to explain my point of view on this but sometimes you just cant talk to some people. So in response to Mr Reid's earlier comment which is completley false and slanderous.
I requested the stop be moved because of some of (not all) the riders would not only leave trash and cigarette butts in front of my property. But some would hang out in front of the hotel at times the bus wouldn't run for long periods of time leaving trash and such.
I also wanted it moved because some of the people that ride transit would ask local customers for money. Some of the people would do drug deals. I felt for the safety of myself and my valued customers to request this move. Now I say it again (not all) there are alot of disabled and other people that used transit that did not cause a problem in front of my business. There are wonderful people that use mass transit that not only my tax dollars but my customers tax dollars pay for. The new site was not only best in many ways which follow. 1 they have access to public restrooms at city hall that are for everyone to use. These are handicapped facilities that are needed for some of the people that use mass transit. It was also best in my opion to be by city hall as well for public information that is needed for the people that ride public transportation.
This I promise was not meant to offend anyone. However I atleast gave someone a cause. If this has offended anyone at all I apologize. I have been a great asset to my community in the short time of 1 year. Im not one to toot my own horn so I wont mention a long list of things I've done to help support my wonderful community that I value to live in.

One would think that Mr Carew-Reid would have enough sense to remain low-key given his status as an illegal immigrant. Yes, altering a birth certificate to obtain residence renders him as an illegal.
