Survey of news media's use of Twitter
Curt Hopkins, the founder of the Committee to Protect Bloggers, has created a survey on how traditional news media use Twitter and it's located here: I set up a survey to track Twitter use at news organizations. If you use Twitter at a newspaper, radio station, television station or another "MSM" organization, fill it out.

3 comments about 'Survey of news media's use of Twitter'Thanks, JD. Response ongoing. I only know of about 70 orgs that use Twitter (established general news), so I'll try to get as close as possible to that number before I close it and output the results.

A quick note: Please note this is a survey only for representatives of general news organizations. If you run an online-only news site, are a representative of a specialty news organization (sports, tech, business, etc.) or are not a member of a news organization at all, please do not fill out the survey.

Why is an "online-only news site" not regarded as a "general news organization" for the purposes of this survey? Isn't this the Online News Association?
