Columbus Dispatch: 'The ABCs of Betrayal'

Comments: The Columbus Dispatch kicked off a four-day investigative series Oct. 14, 2007 on Ohio’s flawed system of disciplining and tracking teachers, coaches, aides, counselors and administrators. In “The ABCs of Betrayal,” the newspaper also made available on its Web site a searchable database of Ohio educators disciplined since 2000. The newspaper’s 10-month investigation found that a state and local discipline system allows educators in the classroom despite misconduct that includes theft, assault and abuse of children. Teachers' rights are often put first, districts don't always communicate with the state, and the Department of Education shields records of wrongdoing. Since 2000, Ohio disciplined 1,722 educators, with two-thirds of those sent back to their classrooms or allowed to take teaching jobs. Theft was the most common reason for discipline with 405 cases, followed by assault or disorderly conduct with 341 cases, sexual misconduct with 292, and drugs and alcohol with 179.

As reported by the Columbus Dispatch newspaper and others beginning on October 17, 2007, the administrators at Worthington Christian Schools (WCS) and Grace Brethren Church (GBC) of Columbus, Ohio along with their Schottenstein, Zox, and Dunn (SZD) attorney, Daniel R. Swetnam, got caught while deliberately putting thousands of students at “risk” (their word) for nearly a decade with several repeat child molesters lead into temptation to molest again, while deceiving and defrauding we parents about it, while the WCS/GBC administrators and their SZD attorney conspired to cover up their crimes (i.e. Conspiracy of Criminal Negligence, Deception, Fraud, and Cover-Ups) against we parents and the students.

Note too that the law firm of the WCS/GBC attorney managed to file ridiculous and frivolous Telecommunication Harassment claims against a parent for simply asking two questions (the first as suggested by the Supreme Court of Ohio) about those crimes committed against that parent, his family, and thousands of others. That parent was then sentenced to 3 years probation after spending approximately $10,000.00 on attorney fees, court costs, fines, disruption of work, etcetera.
However, that parent was able to expose the serious incompetence of the Worthington Police Department and the serious corruption at the Columbus Prosecutor's Office in regard to the crimes committed by WCS/GBC and their SZD attorney.
