ATLANTA — Discussion about targeted advertising dominated the Interactive Media Conference & Trade Show here this week.
In one of the few content panels, CNET Editor-at-Large Brian Cooley said that video tutorials by Web site editors build rapport with readers. He also said that reader-generated reviews and other content makes readers feel empowered — they become sort of co-editors on the site. But he warned sites to be sure to clearly distinguish between staff editorial and user-generated content.
Here’s a wrap-up of the first day from Carl Sullivan.
