The New York Times produced a nice multimedia feature on its Web site to go with John Darton’s Sunday piece about African music legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, including music, photos and narration from Darton. But newspaper readers would have no idea: No where in the newspaper — not even at the end of the article — was the multimedia feature mentioned. Online readers would have seen it. What a shame to spend the energy to create good work like this and then not promote it well.
