Star-Ledger to launch live weekday Webcast

The Star-Ledger of Newark, NJ, is launch a live weekday Webcast starting today. They will be streamed daily at noon and be available on-demand afterward.

The Webcasts will average 5 minutes in length and feature video stories done by reporters, photographers, graphic artists and editors,  deputy managing editor John Hassell said.

“We’ve trained 20 people across all departments in the newsroom,” he said. Each is to produce one video story a week as part of their regular duties on the 300-person news staff, he said.
