The Wireless Election Connection is back, with 16 college journalism
students providing real-time coverage of the Republican convention using Motorola V400 camera phones to record images, text message and file stories to a moblog.
For the Democratic convention coverage, the site received more than 15,000 hits. At the DNC, students posted 437 stories, averaging approximately one
every ten minutes over an 18-hour workday. Wow.
Another group of students from Metro State College in Denver are in NYC blogging the convention for the Rocky Mountain Progressive Network.
