washingtonpost.com Launches News Tracker Application on Facebook
washingtonpost.com today announced the launch of a new Facebook application, "washingtonpost.com News Tracker," that lets users create personalized news feeds, keeping them up to date on the topics most important to them.
The application compiles news from The Washington Post as well as 400 news sources from around the world. Users can customize news feeds in two ways. The application provides a list of popular feeds to subscribe to. In addition, users can receive personalized news feeds by creating their own search terms. Users can easily add or delete feeds as they choose and can share their favorite stories with friends.
If you are a Facebook user, you can check out the application by clicking here. A box will come up on the right hand side of the page asking you to "install application." After clicking that button, you can begin customizing your news feeds.
