SFGate is one of the first news sites to utilize Facebook Connect.
To use the new service, SFGate readers must be logged into their Facebook account. When they comment on an SFGate article, they can choose to simultaneously post that message to Facebook.
Comments shared on Facebook are visible to friends via their Facebook news feed, appearing alongside the user status updates, photos and notes that have come to define the Palo Alto social networking site. A link to the article is included.
