What Is Online News?

Many Web sites say they offer news, but how have blogs, relationships with affiliates and other devices unique to the Internet affected the online news product? Representatives from the New York Times Online, USAToday.com and other experts attending Consumer WebWatch’s National Summit on Web Credibility in April 2003 discussed how to define news and journalism in ways relevant to a wide array of Web sites.
